About Me

Having studied Graphic Design at St Martin’s School of Art and worked for many years as a designer, I am now a professional sculptor.

I aim to present the abstracted human figure in an aesthetically pleasing and harmonious way, paring it down to its essential lines and playing with the negative spaces, patterns and curves as well as the form itself. I seek a balance between the fluidity and the stillness of a form. Informed by my graphic background and looking through half closed eyes, I can see the form as a two-dimensional line, and I bend that line until the curve “sings” to me.
